Also included are "Roadside Stop," about a hotel with a disappearing guest room; "The Doom of the House of Gaskell," in which a revolting family curse is revealed; "Initiation into Terror," about a fraternity prank that goes fatally wrong; and the title story, about the ghoulish turn of events that happens when a bunch of teenagers invoke the name of Satan at midnight on Halloween.
